The Girl Behind The Edit

Hi, I’m Peyi. If you’re here, you’ve come to my favourite place to be. My head.

Hear Me Out: The Edit started because I needed a place to put all the thoughts and theories I keep thinking about. And I’ve chosen this little purple place.

It’s the unfiltered version of my internal monologue. In a world of 280-character limits and “aesthetic” highlight reels, I wanted a space for the nuance. On this blog, I’m ready to get into basically everything. I’m talking, relationship dynamics and gender wards, friendship breakups, society pressures on body image, social media and our online personalities and my ‘Hear me out’ moments that are too long for tweets but too good to keep to myself.

Why I’m Writing This

I’m a 20-something navigating the same “what am I doing?” chaos as everyone else. I’m an overthinker, a trend-watcher, and a firm believer that the best conversations happen after 11 PM when the filters come off. I’m here to give you my hottest takes, my most honest reflections, and my unpopular (well, maybe popular, who knows) opinions.

So, stay a while. Read a theory. Leave a comment. Let’s get into the edits that make life interesting.
